A matchday membership scheme has been introduced to both encourage payment of a club subscription and to ensure that all players are covered by the club’s insurance
The Membership
MATCHDAY MEMBERSHIP is being introduced for all players who have not ALREADY
paid their subscription. The will be required to pay a fee to their Captain
and complete a Matchday Membership Form.
Under certain circumstances the fee will be waived: 1. For a new non-member’s first three matches 2. Anyone called up as a late replacement on up to three occasions
A fee of £10 per match (£5 for U22s/Students) is payable on top of the normal kitty UNTIL the player has handed in a completed DD form/made payment to the OWCC Subs Treasurer.
Up to a total of 6 games.
The fee is non-refundable and is not a contribution towards the subscription.
Those who play less than 6 games will still be making a contribution towards the club – rather than playing for free. Those who play more than 6 games are more likely to pay their subscription up front – like everyone else.
Any income from this scheme will go to OWCC to balance against subs defaulters.
Matchday Members will be members of the OWCC for the day of the match only and will have no further rights of membership.
